We are all about condensing the world’s waste to create one-of-a-kind pieces that no one else on the planet has. Our aim is to use 100% of the used materials and turn them into sustainable fashion pieces, furniture, and abstract art. No scrap left behind!

My name is Nicole Mighty. I am the founder, designer, and the CEO of Spiked Orchids LLC. I am a fashion designer, specializing in upcycling for over 20 years. I started 25 years ago when I was trying to preserve my daughter’s old clothing. I wanted to hold onto memories of when she was a baby.
In order to carry those memories with me, I turned her denim garments into traveling bags. I took the jeans she could no longer fit, and hand sewed them into a bag that I later sold to a coworker as my first sale. In 2019, after watching a documentary on the fashion industry, I learned that the world has a huge fast fashion and furniture waste issue!
At that moment, I realized that everything I was doing with the unused clothing and furniture was a solution to the problem. It was then, that Spiked Orchids was born.
